Medication Policy

Please notify the School Nurse in writing if a student is required by their health care provider to take medication at/during the school day.

Please drop the medication off at the nurse’s office, clearly labeled with the child’s name and directions for administration of the medication.

Please be aware that:

1. No medication is given without parents’ consent.
2. All medication will be kept in the School Nurse office to be administered by the School Nurse or her/his delegate. In case of an asthma inhaler, students can keep it in their backpack but the school nurse and the teacher should be informed.
